From Puerto Rico southwards to the Leeward Islands low moisture levels will continue to restrict any significant shower activity. However, shallow pockets of moisture on the wind-flow combined with low winds and daytime heating, may generate brief periods of passing showers. Elsewhere, across the southern portions of the region, an approaching trough may increase the chances of showers, which may be moderate to locally heavy at times.
