Community groups must play their part;
The Media too! What a wonderful tool.
A competition here, a competition there
To motivate and get our citizens to care.

Emphasis on cleaning ghauts, and ravines
Roadways that can be used in emergency;
Erecting signs/notices at strategic post;
Having fully equipped shelters
Train families and schools to handle Disasters.

Continuous training for CERT and Red-Cross Teams,
Have in place an overall Mitigation Plan;
To secure equipment to facilitate operations.

To ensure that reduction is kept to a minimal…controllable level
