Flood waters impact Bath Bridge in Nevis

May 17, 2017  ·

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The Bath Bridge became a casualty of the heavy rains and flood waters of Thursday 11th May 2017. The day to day use of the bridge has been suspended indefinitely as the structural integrity has been compromised. The bridge suffered severe damage to its foundation and the underlying support column was completely washed out.

The department of Public Works, roads division is now in the process of crafting a solution to repair and restore this bridge to full use. The Nevis Disaster Management Department advises the villagers and visitors to the Bath area to exercise caution. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″]
