Purpose
After hurricanes, floods, earthquakes or other events, NDMD coordinates a federation-wide Initial Damage Assessment (IDA). This survey is the per-household instrument used to capture immediate damage, needs and welfare information.
Before you startHave these ready
- Household address and parish
- Number of occupants, including children and persons with disabilities
- Photographs of structural damage (if safe to capture)
- Current shelter status — at home, with family, in public shelter
- Immediate needs — water, food, medical, building materials
