Hurricane Ah Disaster Too

March 7, 2017  ·  ajt

Hurricane fu us is ah ‘Disaster’!
Ye does come one season ah year;
But ah tel’ yu, ye does bring real fear.
De news-man only got to say, it’s heading in our direction
An’ people flood de Supermarket, de Hardware and de Pharmacy.

Mentally we are under stress…
Financially we are under stress;
An’ as ye get closer we ah wonder.
Some ah hope, some ah pray;
But ‘Hurricane’ got ah mind ah ye own
An’ ye nar study wha’dem Mete-ologist ah say.

As we hear of de destruction in ye path …some of us fart!
We can’t tek dat…
Lord! sen’ um out to sea, or up ah America…
Dem could bear um…but Lord!dem ah people too.

United Nations now understand we plight
For more Nations now ah feel de bite;
When no Hurricane, ah Earthquake, Flooding, Deforestation
Wild -Fires or Extreme Weather Patterns…
All of these threaten humanity;
We must devise a plan to combat…some ah dese ‘Disaster.’
