The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) – Regional Office for the Americas and the Caribbean, the Government of Jamaica and CDEMA launched the application call for the IGNITE Stage, which is part of the VII Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean (RP20) that will be hosted by Jamaica from July 8th-10th, 2020.
What is the IGNITE stage? The IGNITE Stage is a space where Regional Platform participants will have up to 20 minutes to present new projects or initiatives on the subject of disaster risk reduction.
The objective of this space is to complement and expand the range of topics discussed at the Regional Platform beyond those presented in the main sessions and side events.
