Have you ever heard of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA)? The Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) is a regional (Caribbean) non-governmental organization founded 28 years ago in 1991. The CWWA is a grouping of water, wastewater and solid waste professionals in the public and private sectors that facilitate discussion, capacity building and more recently policy driving at the political level. As you may be aware the Caribbean region is made up of several small island developing states, vulnerable to natural disasters such as drought and hurricanes and the impacts of climate change.
Annually, we host a Conference that involve over 400 persons including Ministers responsible for water and sanitation, Utility Managers, Engineers, Water Resources and Sanitation practitioners and exhibitors, suppliers and contractors involved in water, wastewater and solid waste in the Caribbean. This year our conference will be held in St. Kitts and Nevis between 14th October and 18th October 2019. The 2019 Conference theme is “Securing the Caribbean’s Future: Financing the Water and Waste Sectors”. Browse our Conference Brochure below for a preview of what is happening in 2019.
